So you have a cool motorcycle, the best jacket, a funky helmet, and gloves that look like skeleton hands, but what gadgets do you have to make you stand out? There are some pretty amazing accessories for motorcycles that you should never be without. Some of these gadgets are perfect for the techy-biker, while others are practical for any rider.
One of these is called the MG-Moto Hanger. This little gadget is two inches wide in diameter and is easy to use. The hook has a two directional magnet so it can be put back together in whichever way that's needed. With a sleek design that is also practical, the top has a durable plastic dome with the company's logo, and on the back there is a no-slip rubber backing. This no-slip rubber allows the rider to hang their helmet or ridging bag off of a table, counter, or even on a bathroom hook if need be. No rider should be without this nifty, convenient gadget.
Founded in 1946, Honda was formed by Sorichiro Honda. Currently, this motorcycle giant is the largest manufacturer in the world. They are based in Tokyo, Japan and began to gain popularity in 1958. Honda doesn't only focus on being cutting edge in the motorcycle world. They offer many different styles of wheels.
They also manufacture ATVS, motocross bikes, and even scooters. To say that they are continuously an innovator in the motorcycle world is an understatement. Do you like to race? Take note from Sorichiro Honda himself who was an avid racer, the Honda is for you.
Suzuki is billing the 2012 V-Strom as "The Comfortable Adventure Tourer." The company boasts improvements in engine performance in the low- to mid-ranges, better fuel economy, and styling and bodywork design changes that offer the rider better wind protection. It has an electric starter. MSRP on the new V-Strom has not yet been released. The off road bikes are in the DR family: the DR-Z125 and the DR-Z125L, both of which are 124cc. Again, the "L" designation tells you that they offer extended ergonomics to accommodate larger riders. Both bikes are air cooled and feature, says Suzuki, "aggressively styled bodywork, number plates and graphics built to look exactly like the race winning RM-Z competition models."
Both DRs come with 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engines that Suzuki says are "designed for ease of operation and low maintenance." Transmissions are 5-speed. Front and rear are both drum brakes. The curb weight of the DR-Z125 is 194 pounds, while the DR-Z125L only adds 2 pounds, hitting 196. The smaller bike runs a 17-inch tire in front and a 14-inch tire in back. The larger model sports 19-inch and 16-inch tires, respectively.
There are so many more gadgets for all types of motorcycles and to fit almost any need or style of rider. You can look for other gadgets like onboard video cameras, alarm systems, and even special headphones so you can enjoy some tunes and not have to mess with them and your helmet all the time. Don't forget that you have to have a license in order to ride your motorcycle, legally, and it is always a good idea to have motorcycle insurance, you can never be too safe. Investing in some of these gadgets can make your trip simpler and care free so you can enjoy the ride.
